Five Pillars Butchery, with funding from the USDA Meat and Poultry Processor Expansion Program and state funding, will begin constructing a 5400 sq.ft facility in the summer of 2025, with an operational capacity of nearly 1 million lbs of meat annually.
Five Pillars Butchery will accommodate slaughter for up to 40 cows or 150 lambs and goats on a weekly basis. Producers will gain access to the Halal Meat Market, the fastest growing meat market in the United States.
